In addition to the production of thermoforming machines, Lakatos is dedicated to the manufacture of molds, whose application is ideal for the equipment that the company supplies. To meet all this demand, it has a complete structure including machining machines, as well as a metrology department, where it operates a three-dimensional machine with milesimal precision. The company also has a highly capable engineering team to design the most complex surfaces using 3D CAD software.

All this support allows the work to be performed perfectly and in the most suitable material. We can start the process with Epoxy foundry models, such as machining rolled and cast to the precision of 60 HRC hardened special steel. Lakatos produces various molds, that is, for all its thermoforming machine lines, such as multi-cavity packaging models for high productivity, as well as larger sizes for auto parts or the production of refrigerator parts.

Our solutions include cooling ducts, manifolds, pneumatic cylinders, special locks, pullers, vacuum chamber, seals, cutting knives, among other techniques to achieve excellence in the mold.
